Samsung Confirms Galaxy Tab S3 Price And Release Date In US | Galaxy S8 Plus News

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S3 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 which was held in Barcelona in February.

However, Samsung fans and tech enthusiasts worldwide had been waiting with bated breath for details of the Galaxy Tab S2’s successor’s price and release in the U.S.

On March 16, Samsung finally lifted the mystery and confirmed the price of the tablet. Incidentally, retailer Best Buy listed the Galaxy Tab S3 a few days ago as coming soon.

Tech Times reported that the 32 GB version of Galaxy Tab S3 in black was listed on Best Buy with the notification “coming soon” at a price of $599.99.

Samsung has now confirmed that the tablet will be priced at $599.99, proving the early Best Buy listing correct.

“Consumers today expect their tablets to adapt and evolve with their busy and demanding lives, enabling them to do a lot more but with the convenience of a mobile device. The new Galaxy Tab S3 embodies Samsung’s commitment to deliver the best of entertainment and productivity, allowing consumers to do what they want, when they want,” said Alanna Cotton the VP at Samsung Electronics America.

The company also stated that interested buyers can preorder their Galaxy Tab S3 from or select retailers like Amazon or Best Buy. The tablet will hit the market shelves from March 24 in two colors, namely black and silver.

Apart from the tablet, the Galaxy Tab S3’s additional accessories like the Pogo Keyboard and the keyboard cover will be sold separately from March 24 onwards for $129.99.

Specs And Features

For the unfamiliar, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 sports a 9.7 inch AMOLED display for ultimate viewing experience dynamic. The tablet comes with 4 GB of RAM and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, clocking at 2.15 GHz.

The device has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP secondary snapper. This tablet runs on a 6,000 mAh battery, which supports fast charging. The tablet comes pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

This tablet also comes with a S Pen in the bundle. The updated stylus from Samsung comes with enhanced pressure sensitivity to help one use features like Translate, Smart Select and Magnify and Glance.
